Too hot, even with a 7:30 start this morning, but always lovely. It's a run I've enjoyed most Saturdays for several years with my friend Kathy Grassel in the Sandia Mountain foothills east of Albuquerque. The trailhead is a 20-minute drive from my home in the north valley, the older, low lying part of the city along the Rio Grande.
