Private meeting room at Red Fort in Old Delhi
La Quila, or the Red Fort, was completed in 1648 in Old Delhi, India, on the western bank of the Yamuna River under the reign of Shah Jahan and is reportedly one of the most spectacular examples of Mughal architecture. This room, the Diwan-I-Khas, is where the emperor would hold private meetings. The fort is an irregular octagon in shape and has a circumference of about 1.5 miles.
