Little Mr. Photogenic, the handsome boy on the right, showed up in almost every photo I took last weekend at these roadside produce stands near downtown Kabul. Southern and western Afghanistan is a rich agricultural area, but I am told that much of the produce at this time of year comes from Pakistan.

A ham amongst the fruits and vegetables
Little Mr. Photogenic, the handsome boy on the right, showed up in almost every photo I took last weekend at these roadside produce stands near downtown Kabul.
