This mind-boogling set appears to have been inspired by the Christian Nativity and a trip to Toys 'R Us. (I don't know about you, but I always figured Shrek was taller.) Photography sets are common in Ala-Too Square, especially for rural Kyrgyz seeking a memento of their trip to the capital. I have also seen limousines used so you can pretend you're a celebrity as well as a long, fat snake that you can drape over your shoulders.
